I will...

In this Easy Thai lesson, you’ll practise talking about your plans using จะ (will / going to). Each sentence starts with a single word and builds up step by step into a full sentence. You’ll learn how to ask and answer three everyday questions: where are you going, what are you going to eat, and what are you going to buy.

Thai Vocabulary:
จะไปไหน (jà bpai nǎi) – Where are you going?
จะกินอะไร (jà gin à-rai) – What are you going to eat?
จะซื้ออะไร (jà sʉ́ʉ à-rai) – What are you going to buy?
ตลาด (dtà-làat) – Market
สนามเด็กเล่น (sà-nǎam dèk lên) – Playground
ยาสีฟัน (yaa sǐi fan) – Toothpaste

You’ll also hear how ฉัน, ผม and หนู are used with the polite particles ค่ะ and ครับ, so you can answer naturally in your own voice. Keep practising, and soon these questions and answers will come to you without thinking!
