The Football Match

In this Easy Thai story, hear about a first trip to a live football match: Thailand vs Oman at Rajamangala Stadium, around 12 years ago. From buying a ticket and sitting in the stands, to cheering for the national team and doing the Mexican wave, to waiting ages for a taxi in heavy traffic, find out why this might also be the last trip to a stadium!

Along the way, you’ll practise the days of the week, months of the year, dates, and phrases for forgetting and remembering.

จำไม่ได้ (jam mâi dâai) – I can’t remember
รถติด (rót tìt) – Traffic jam

Why do so many people around the world love watching football at the stadium? What do you think?
