Tell Me About This Area
In this Easy Thai lesson, you’ll learn how to ask what there is to eat or do around here and around there. Using แถวนี้ and แถวนั้น, the lesson explores places across Thailand, from elephant rides, horse-drawn carriages and cotton candy in Ayutthaya to white-water rafting and sweet marian plums in Nakhon Nayok. You’ll also practise asking what can be found near a university, home, hotel and school, and hear the difference between something being at a place and in the area around it.
