Taking a Photo
Learn how to talk about photos and cameras in Thai! This lesson compares film cameras, digital cameras, DSLRs and phone cameras, and explains the different Thai words for photos, drawings and printed pictures. You’ll also pick up vocabulary for selfies, selfie sticks, tripods and popular photo poses. Then you’ll learn polite phrases for asking someone to take your picture, offering to swap photos, choosing portrait or landscape, and requesting full-body, half-body or close-up shots.
