Slogans of 77 Provinces of Thailand

Did you know that every Thai province has its own official motto? In this lesson, you’ll find out what provincial mottos are, why Thai children memorise them at school, and how they sum up each province’s attractions, food, culture and people. Two mottos are broken down line by line: Chiang Rai in the far north, home of Lanna culture and Phra That Doi Tung, and Kalasin in Isan, known for Phu Thai culture, Phrae Wa silk, the pong lang instrument, and its dinosaur museum.
