Look & See
In this Easy Thai lesson, you’ll learn the difference between three common Thai verbs for looking and seeing: มอง, ดู and เห็น. Through short everyday scenes, like noticing chilli stuck in someone’s teeth, watching the news, movies and cartoons, and trying to spot a parrot and a butterfly, you’ll hear how each word is used naturally. You’ll also hear how they combine as มองดู and มองเห็น. Along the way, you’ll learn how to talk about eyesight, including being short-sighted, long-sighted and blind, and how to reply “nothing” when someone asks what you’re looking at.
