It is On Me

Learn how to offer to pay and say “my treat” in Thai! This easy Thai lesson covers useful phrases for paying at cafés and restaurants, as well as paying for taxis and beach chair, motorbike and car rentals. You’ll hear how to ask for the bill, ask how much something costs, insist on paying for your friends, and suggest splitting the bill. You’ll also learn the difference between เลี้ยง meaning “to treat someone” and เลี้ยง meaning “to raise a pet.” Fun short stories show someone paying for children’s meals and a man treating a woman at another table.
