Intention
What does it really mean to ตั้งใจ (dtâng jai)? This lesson breaks the word into its two parts. An open water bottle explains ตั้ง (dtâng), and the way the heart pumps blood around the body explains ใจ (jai). From there, you’ll explore what it means to be determined, to try too hard, and to not try at all, and how each one affects studying, grades, and work. The lesson ends with a question for the comments: if you could choose one coworker, would you pick someone who tries too hard or someone who doesn’t try at all?
