Head and Hair

Follow a complete hair-care routine and learn how to talk about your head and hair in Thai! After several days without washing during a “cold” spell (21°C feels chilly in Thailand!), it’s time to shampoo, condition, blow-dry, straighten, and curl. Each step is narrated in simple Thai, so you’ll pick up practical everyday verbs as you watch. You’ll also learn words for common hair problems like dandruff, frizz, split ends, grey hair, and hair loss.

Thai Vocabulary:
สระผม (sà phǒm) – To wash your hair
ครีมนวด (khriim nûat) – Conditioner
เป่าผม (pào phǒm) – To blow-dry hair
หนีบผม (nìip phǒm) – To straighten hair
ผมหงอก (phǒm ngɔ̀ɔk) – Grey hair

Learning Thai through everyday routines helps you understand vocabulary in context and remember it more naturally. Keep listening, keep learning, and enjoy your Thai journey!
