Feelings 03
Learn how to talk about your feelings in Thai! This third lesson on emotions covers four common feelings: fear, anger, relief and discomfort. Each one is shown through simple sentences and everyday situations, such as being scared of dogs, snakes and spiders, feeling relieved when money worries are over, or feeling squeezed on a crowded BTS Skytrain. You’ll also practise three natural ways to describe a feeling, for example กลัว, รู้สึกกลัว and มีความรู้สึกกลัว.
Thai Vocabulary:
กลัว (glua) – Afraid / Scared
โกรธ (gròht) – Angry
โล่งอก (lôhng-òk) – Relieved
อึดอัด (ʉ̀t-àt) – Uncomfortable / Cramped / Awkward
ตกใจ (tòk-jai) – Startled / Shocked
ความรู้สึก (kwaam rúu-sʉ̀k) – Feeling
Learning Thai through real-life examples helps you understand vocabulary in context and remember it more naturally. Keep listening, keep learning, and enjoy your Thai journey!
