Expenses

Bills, bills, bills! In this Easy Thai lesson, a trip to the mailbox turns up a stack of envelopes, and each one holds a different bill: phone, internet, water, electricity, house, car, life insurance and credit card. You'll hear how to talk about everyday expenses in Thai and the different ways to pay them: scanning a QR code in a banking app, visiting the water or electricity office, or using the counter service at 7-Eleven or the bank. You'll also learn what you get once you've paid.

Thai Vocabulary:
ค่าใช้จ่าย (kâa chái jàai) – Expenses
ใบแจ้งหนี้ (bai jâeng nîi) – Bill / Invoice
ใบเสร็จ (bai sèt) – Receipt
จ่ายเงิน (jàai ngern) – To pay

Slow, clear speech and plenty of repetition make this a great lesson for picking up practical money vocabulary for daily life in Thailand. What expenses do you have?
