Daisy Gets Sick

Daisy has spent the weekend watching cartoons on her iPad, and tomorrow is Monday, so she doesn’t want to go to school. A cartoon gives her an idea: pretend to be sick! But when Mom starts asking about her symptoms and mentions a trip to the doctor, the plan doesn’t go quite as Daisy expected. Along the way, you’ll learn useful Thai for describing how you feel when you’re unwell.

Thai Vocabulary:
ไม่สบาย (mâi sà-baai) – Sick / Unwell
ปวดหัว (bpùat hǔa) – Headache
ปวดท้อง (bpùat tóong) – Stomachache
ตัวร้อน (dtua rɔ́ɔn) – To have a fever
ฉีดยา (chìit yaa) – To get an injection
โกหก (goo-hòk) – To lie

Learning Thai through stories helps you understand vocabulary in context and remember it more naturally. Keep listening, keep learning, and enjoy your Thai journey with every story!
